Class Outline
Classes are intended for new and returning students in grades 7 through 9. While some new material is introduced, returning students are able to practice and perfect previously taught material, while assisting new students in learning the basics. This is a terrific way to hone leadership skills and is a great boost to self-confidence. Many students have returned for multiple sessions!
- Class 1: Fox Trot and Box Step OR Waltz and Box Step Introductions & Conversation Starters
- Class 2: Cha Cha & Crossover Turn OR Waltz and Turn First Impressions & Body Language
- Class 3: Line Dance OR Barn Dance Cell Phone & Internet Etiquette
- Class 4: Semi-Formal Receiving Line & Reception Etiquette
Preview Night
Preview Night is a free class for students wanting to see what cotillion is all about before registering for a full session. It is a drop-off event and is held on an evening prior to the start of each session. Be sure to register early, as Preview Night is extremely popular and fills up quickly!
